The electronic communications infrastructure inaugurated on September 4 in Bobo-Dioulasso includes a virtual landing point (PAV), an Internet exchange point (IXP) and other related infrastructure and services. It was the director general of electronic infrastructures at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Post Development, Galiam Ouédraogo, who presented these various works housed at the Bobo-Dioulasso transmitter center. The PAV is like a dry internet port. It is, according to him, a point of supply for the benefit of players in the telecommunications sector.
